  • Research and Development (R&D) is the innovation engine of Oryzo and is crucial to driving growth. We strive to maintain on a continuous basis, a high rate of new product development focused on innovations to increase yields and quality. We are continuously working towards delivering new improved varieties & traditional cultivars suitable for the different Agro-climatic zones.
  • Oryzo is focusing in developing crop related technologies that would help to increase the marketable yields with the best quality rice, reduce the input cost and risk that accrues to the Indian farmers. Our vision is to be the India's most dynamic and best in class Rice Company creating essentials for better, safer, and sustainable solutions for Indian farming community.
  • Teams of leading professionals with several years’ experience are operating the company. We aspire to be leading supplier of best quality rice and other cereal crops offering value added traits to the stakeholders.
  • Oryzo in house R&D capacities, having research farms at Sonipat-haryana, Jaleswar-Odisha, Haridwar-Uttarakhand, and Hyderabad-Telangana. The R&D farms are used for Crop Breeding, line purification, parental line increase, grow out testing and field evaluation of new traits and technologies.

  • We have a very strong farmer base for the production of traditional rice with the best natural agronomic practices across India. We are doing contact farming in Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Telangana, Karnataka, Odisha, West Bengal, Assam, Manipur, Uttar Pradesh with experienced technical staff and very rigid quality controls.
  • Oryzo is also collaborating with leading seed and commodity companies for undertaking the research, development, production, processing and accessing the distribution/marketing network.

Variety selection and seed development

  • Oryzo undertake germplasm collection, experiments, tests, investigations and trials in relation to the nature, composition, characteristics and qualities of existing rice cultivars available around the world to understand the optimum characteristics of rice which would be commercially viable by virtue of possessing high productivity, quality and output.
  • Oryzo also provide services by contributing to setting up facilities, including laboratories, experiment and production centers, storage, processing, packaging and related infrastructure in collaboration with leading seed and commodity companies.
